Welcome to Velo — GPS Speedometer & Mileage Log (the "App"), developed by PixelLooop ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Velo is provided to you for logging personal or business travel mileage, estimating ATO tax deductions, and checking speeds. You must not use the App for any illegal purposes or in a manner that violates local traffic laws or safe-driving regulations.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE: NEVER interact with the App while driving. Always mount your device securely in accordance with local regulations, set up location logs before commencing your trip, and remain focused on the road. PixelLooop is not liable for any accidents or traffic offenses occurring in connection with the use of this App.
Velo utilizes GPS location updates to calculate distance and speed. Speedometer readings and mileage tracking accuracy depend on your device's hardware, satellite reception, and environmental factors. Tax savings estimations (e.g. 85¢/km) are approximations for planning purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any logged travel details before submitting them for formal tax deductions or business expense claims.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Velo on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal or legitimate business use in accordance with Apple App Store terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velo is provided "as is" and "as available". PixelLooop disclaims all warranties. In no event shall we be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of business tax refunds, or personal injury arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Australia, Australia, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
